    On Sunday, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, inaugurated new urban projects at Wasit University and laid the foundation stone for a number of buildings in its specialized colleges.
    The ministry said in a statement received by "Al-Iqtisad News" that "Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Naeem Al-Aboudi arrived in Wasit Governorate and opened new urban projects in its university and laid the foundation stone for a number of buildings in its specialized colleges."
    The minister stressed, according to the statement, that "the ministry is keen to follow up and prepare all quality requirements in the educational environment, including classrooms, advanced laboratories, libraries, green spaces, and service facilities, in order to provide an appropriate academic environment that contributes to the implementation and success of academic programs approved by university institutions."
    Al-Aboudi reviewed the medical clinics of the College of Dentistry and urged more interaction in the field of providing services to the community and providing scientific solutions and consultations to all sectors of the country, stressing at the same time the speedy completion of university projects in accordance with the harmonious timings and the five-year plan for universities. He explained that "the inaugurated projects included the annex of new buildings for the Faculties of Education for Humanities and Arts, a conference hall, modern buildings for the Faculty of Medicine, and the smart gate for the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, as well as laying the foundation stone for a number of university projects that include scientific departments."
    In this context, Minister Naeem Al-Aboudi inaugurated the plastic exhibition of the faculty and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and the charity market held by the university.
