The media advisor to the Prime Minister, Hisham Al-Rikabi, confirmed today, Monday, that the budget will be decided today within the Council of Ministers.
Al-Rikabi said in a press statement, "The budget will be decided today within the Council of Ministers, and there is no way to delay sending it to Parliament," noting that "the budget included many financial allocations, especially with regard to social care and support for the poor classes."
He added that "most of the contentious articles within the budget have been resolved, especially with regard to the share of the Kurdistan region."
