Speaker of the Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, discussed with the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, a number of important laws that will be approved.
A statement from Al-Halbousi's office, a copy of which Mawazine News received, stated that "Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi met today, Saturday, with the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri."
He added, "The meeting discussed the political situation in the country, and the oversight and legislative role of the House of Representatives, as well as discussing a number of important laws that will be approved, including the House of Representatives and provincial elections law, the Federal General Budget Law, and other laws of the political agreement paper and the ministerial platform."
