The Minister of Interior agrees to include four categories of granting licenses to possess and carry firearms

Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Interior announced, on Sunday, that it had obtained the approval of Minister Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari to include the categories mentioned below in granting licenses to possess and carry firearms in accordance with the regulations and laws in force in this framework, given the nature of the assigned work.
The ministry said in a statement today that the covered categories are as follows:
1- Merchants who obtained the identity of the Chamber of Commerce (first and second degrees).
2- Contractors (first and second grades) after this is approved by the Contractors Union.
3- Goldsmiths after confirming their obtaining a license to practice a profession and confirming that by the Ministry of Planning - the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control.
4- Owners of salary delivery outlet stores, after this has been confirmed by the (Ki Card) company.
The Ministry called on those wishing from the categories referred to in the aforementioned approval to provide evidence of their inclusion, according to what was announced, so that we could refer their applications, supported by the required supporting documents, to the concerned authorities for consideration by the applicable regulations and laws.
