The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, discussed with the Saudi Minister of Commerce, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, the role of the judiciary in protecting the environment, today, Monday.
A statement by the Judicial Council, received by (Baghdad Today), stated that "Judge Zaidan received today the Saudi Minister of Commerce, and discussed with him the role of the judiciary in protecting the safe environment for investment through commercial courts," noting that "the meeting was attended by the Saudi ambassador to Baghdad, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari." .
Earlier in the day, the Minister of Planning, Muhammad Al-Tamimi, discussed with the Saudi Minister of Trade, Majid Abdullah Al-Qasabi, the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
A brief statement of planning, received by (Baghdad Today), stated that "Minister Muhammad Al-Tamimi received today the Minister of Commerce of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and his accompanying delegation, and they discussed strengthening and developing joint cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries. "
Official visits to Baghdad continued, since Iraq became a center for convergence of views between the parties in the region, especially between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Yesterday, the Secretary-General of the Iranian Security Council, Ali Shamkhani, preceded by the Iranian Foreign Minister Abdullahian, visited after the normalization of relations between Tehran and Riyadh .
Abdullahian said that the Baghdad talks contributed to the restoration of relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, after 5 rounds in Iraq.
