    He added, "At the outset of the meeting, the President of the Republic congratulated the Secretary-General of the United Nations on the success of the water conference and the proposals he made that would contribute to reducing the global water crisis, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the Secretary-General's invitation to attend the conference.
