Today, Saturday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani affirmed seeking to dispense with imports, switch to exports, and increase the value of a barrel of exported oil.
Al-Sudani said, in a statement, “We have placed at the top of the government’s priorities the work to raise the production capacity of existing refineries by supporting and completing the complementary production units under construction, and encouraging investment in the refining sector to establish modern refineries with advanced technical specifications.”
And he stressed, "Work to reach the dispensation of import and shift to the stage of export to achieve the highest added value of the exported barrel."
