[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The Ministry of Planning confirmed that the year 2023 will be the year of implementing service, infrastructure and vital projects, according to the priorities of the government program.
The ministry stated in a statement that it has intensified its follow-up to the ongoing service projects throughout the governorates, in order to stand on the stages of work progress and completion rates, diagnose the obstacles and problems that hinder their implementation, and take the necessary measures to address them.
And she added: "In line with the measures taken to remove traffic jams, the specialized teams in the ministry visited the project of establishing Al-Zahra Bridges in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate within the regions development program, and were briefed on the field on the stages of its completion 4) kilometers.
And she explained: "The project is a very large bridge, with a length of about 4 kilometers, and with approaches, its length reaches 6 kilometers," indicating: "The project site constitutes a complex traffic knot, especially since this area connects the Najaf province from four directions. The eastern direction of it is the road leading towards the provinces of Babylon and Baghdad, and the western direction towards the Wadi al-Salam cemetery and the western neighborhoods, and the southern direction of the road towards the southern governorates, Al-Najaf International Airport , and the central and southern neighborhoods, while the northern direction is linked to the holy governorate of Karbala.
She pointed out: "The project is one of the important ports for the entry and exit of expatriates from the governorate. Its total cost exceeds (53) billion dinars, while its completion rate has reached (96%). It is hoped that it It will be completed during this year and put into service.”
The statement noted, "The need to address the problem of conflicts represented by the concerned authorities represented by high-pressure electricity cables, optical communication cables, water pipes, and light and heavy sewer lines at the project site to avoid delays in its implementation, achieve the desired goals and bring it into service as soon as possible.”/[/rtl]
