    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:[/rtl]
[rtl]Political analyst Najm Al-Ghazi confirmed that Iraq's accession to the agreement for the protection and use of transboundary water areas, known as the United Nations Water Agreement, although it came too late, is important to put pressure on neighboring countries in order to obtain Iraq's share of water.[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Ghazi said in a press interview, "This agreement aims to ensure the sustainable use of transboundary water resources and will be among the pressure cards that Iraq uses in the water crisis and its share from neighboring countries, as accession will generate more international pressure." , especially since these countries have interests with Iraq as well.[/rtl]
[rtl] Noting that "Iraq still needs direct bilateral agreements with Turkey and Iran, as well as Syria to determine and regulate its share of water, as they are source or stream countries, as these countries are not members of the United Nations Convention on Transboundary Waters. "[/rtl]
