[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, called for justice for the farmers, providing them with a decent life, and paying their dues.
Al-Hakim said in a statement: The Feast of the Farmer is a suitable occasion to add our voice to this toiling segment and to demand justice for it by providing it with a decent life, raising its morale, paying its dues first and encouraging it to cling to the land, continue production, and know its problems to work on them, developing villages and solving eliminator destitution and poverty.
He called for striving with full force towards a comprehensive agricultural renaissance, desert reclamation, lining rivers and streams, using agricultural mechanization, changing agricultural and irrigation systems for the better, paying attention to exporting products surplus to the need of the local market, manufacturing and providing supplies in sufficient quantities and appropriate prices, and supporting active agricultural associations./ End[/rtl]
