Parliamentary source: The legislative term will not end without approving the budget

{Politics: Al Furat News} A representative source ruled out the extension of the legislative term of the House of Representatives due to the delay in approving the draft financial budget law.
The source told {Euphrates News} agency: "It is too early to talk about extending the legislative term, because there is more than a month left."
He added, "The legislative season will not end without approving the budget law."
Some media outlets reported that MP Majed Shankali said that "the current legislative term will be extended to the 9th of next June."
It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives finished the second reading of the draft budget law and is likely to hold its session soon after the end of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, amid expectations that the budget will be approved before the end of next month.
