Saudi Arabia is preparing for the largest participation in the 47th Baghdad International Fair

The Saudi side announced the reservation of the largest space to participate in the activities of the 47th edition of the Baghdad International Fair, at a time when the Second International Real Estate and Investment Exhibition concludes today, Thursday, with the participation of 102 local and foreign companies.
The director of the Iraqi General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services, Adel Al-Masoudi, told Al-Sabah: The second international real estate and investment exhibition will conclude its work today, as it is considered one of the most important exhibitions to activate investment in the country, as many companies have expressed their desire to open branches in Iraq and implement investment projects.
Al-Masoudi called on ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic bodies to invite and urge their country's companies to implement investment projects, pointing to the wide participation of the local private sector and Arab and international companies in the exhibition, especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which confirmed its desire to invest in residential complexes or the participation of the private sector and contribute to providing what it needs from Structural materials.
He stressed that the company's doors are open to receive companies and hold specialized exhibitions to solve the housing crisis and provide modern and advanced units.
In a related context, a press release issued by the Iraqi General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services indicated that the company's director, Adel Al-Masoudi, met yesterday with a Saudi delegation headed by Omar Nasser Al-Fateh, head of the Saudi Export Development Authority.
He added that the two sides showed interest in increasing joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries, especially that Iraq is on the verge of economic and investment openness and is thirsty for construction and reconstruction, especially with the Iraqi government's intention to rebuild the infrastructure.
And Al-Masoudi indicated that Saudi participation in Iraqi exhibitions increases their chances of success, because Saudi Arabia has experience in most fields and is an important global market.
For his part, Al-Fateh expressed his happiness with the great cooperation of the management and staff of the Iraqi General Exhibitions Company for the success and facilitation of the procedures for Saudi participation in Iraqi exhibitions. And Al-Fateh announced that Saudi Arabia will achieve its largest participation in foreign exhibitions through the 47th session of the Baghdad International Fair in terms of (size and display method), as an area exceeding (6000 square meters) was reserved, in addition to the open spaces, and this comes in implementation of the directives of the leadership in Saudi Arabia to encourage Trade exchange between the two countries by sending trade missions to Baghdad, Erbil and Basra according to a specific schedule this year.
