The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Intisar Hassan Al-Jazaery, confirmed, on Saturday, that the American presence on the border strip between Iraq and Syria constitutes a source of concern that threatens the security and safety of the Iraqis.

Al-Mousawi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, "The sovereignty of Iraq is one of the most important steps that must be implemented by the government during the coming period by undermining its suspicious movements on the border with Syria."
She added, "Iraq is still living in a spiral of non-implementation of the decision voted by the House of Representatives to remove all US forces from Iraqi territory."
Al-Moussawi indicated, "The survival of the American forces on Iraqi soil means their continuation of their assault on sovereignty through the repeated bombing operations that affect the Iraqi-Syrian borders."
A member of the Syrian People's Assembly, Jawida Mikhail Thalijah, had described the US military withdrawal from Syria and Iraq as a "lie," pointing out that the Arab openness to Syria poses a threat to the American presence and its tools in the region.
And the American forces continue, with mysterious transfers of terrorists of Iraqi nationality, from the Syrian prisons of Al-Hasakah, near the Iraqi border, to an unknown destination.
