    Sheikh Ahmad al-Dulaimi, one of the sheikhs and notables of Anbar Governorate, revealed, on Tuesday, the size of the impact of the campaign of amendments made by Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani on local administrations in Anbar, noting that Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi was the most affected by those decisions.

    Al-Dulaimi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "The amendments that Al-Sudani made yesterday affected prominent leaders of the Taqaddam Party in the Ministry of Education, amid anticipation and Al-Halbousi's intervention to pressure the second round of amendments in administrative positions without including prominent figures in the party."
    He added, "There is a crack that hit the progress and affected those who were removed from power after the reform decisions," expecting that most of those who were excluded would defect from the administrations and turn to other parties to obtain gains.
     He pointed out, "Al-Halbousi made contacts with a number of senior officials in the central government in Baghdad, in a final step to exclude a number of leaders of the ruling party in Anbar, in conjunction with the imminent issuance of another batch of administrative changes in senior positions."
