    House of Representatives ended its session held by the eighteenth day Monday under the chairmanship of Saleem al-Jubouri and President of the Council in the presence of 239 deputies first reading of the four bills, resulting in a number of new deputies sworn.

    The Presidency decided to postpone the first reading of a bill the House of Representatives and submitted by the committees and the legal and financial affairs of members and parliamentary development until ripening.
     
    It also completed the Council first reading of the draft law on residence of foreigners sponsored by the Defense and Security Committee and the Legal Committee, which comes to the large number of amendments to the current law on the establishment of foreign No. 118 for the year 1978 and the emergence of new cases requiring reconsider its provisions and to suit the objective conditions of the Republic of Iraq.
     
    The Council has completed the first reading of a bill passports and submitted by the committees of security, defense and legal for the purpose of enjoyment of the Iraqi constitutional rights in obtaining a passport through facilitating the procedures for granting the passport and to ensure freedom of movement, and in line with the new democratic approach.
     
    It also completed the Council first reading of the draft law on the ratification of the amended Convention of Arab cooperation in the field of organizing and facilitating relief operations and provided legal committee, which came to the desire of the Republic of Iraq in promoting and organizing cooperation among Arab countries in cases of natural disasters and the cases do emergency and risk reduction through facilitating relief operations and to overcome obstacles and difficulties that might hinder the arrival of rescue teams and relief materials to the victims of these disasters and situations, and for the purpose of ratification of the Republic of Iraq on the amended Convention of Arab cooperation in the field of organization to facilitate relief operations.
     
    For his part, called on the President of the Council Jubouri Representatives to submit their comments and ideas to the relevant committees for the purpose of presenting its final report on the laws during the second reading, which offers a modified version of the new mechanism to be adopted, stressing the importance of speed committees decisively presidency to take over the oldest member committee chairmanship temporarily.
