    Economy News _ Baghdad
Today, Wednesday, economic expert Nabil Al-Marsoumi revealed the side most affected by the interruption of Kurdistan's oil export through the Iraqi-Turkish line to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, among the reasons for Masrour Barzani's visit to Turkey.
Al-Marsoumi said in a post followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "Erbil is the most affected by Baghdad and Ankara as a result of the interruption of the export of Kurdistan's oil through the Iraqi-Turkish line to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, because it will lead to the isolation of the Kurdistan oil sector from the global energy sector and undermine the efforts made in Building the energy sector in Kurdistan by concluding several oil contracts with foreign oil companies.
He explained that "exporting oil from the region enabled it to build the material base in Kurdistan, which contributed to achieving the region's economic independence and providing financial resources that enabled it to pay a large part of the employees' salaries at times of crisis in the relationship with Baghdad and its cessation of financing the region, and if the Iraqi parliament had crossed the line the Red".
The economist pointed out that "Erbil believes that through SOMO's export of Kurdistan's oil and linking some of the provinces of the region to the center in terms of financing, if it is not possible to pay the salaries of employees and retirees there, the continued closure of the Iraqi-Turkish pipeline will lead to an increase in the region's dependence on the center and its total dependence on Baghdad for its financing." And curtailing economic relations between Kurdistan and the outside world.
And he indicated that "Kurdistan's relations with the outside world have expanded due to the investments of foreign companies in the region, and perhaps this will constitute the real beginning of the region's demise, especially if there is a central political decision to work in this direction, and here lies the secret of Masrour Barzani's current visit to Turkey to search for a lifeline from the line of death that has become imminently.”
