The leader of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Uday Abdel-Hadi, confirmed, on Thursday, that the general amnesty law will not be passed due to the presence of three important reasons.
Abd al-Hadi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that "attempts by political parties to pressure in order to push the general amnesty law into the limelight again, according to the principle of compromises and concessions, are unacceptable, pointing out that the blood of martyrs and victims of terrorism will lie in wait for any steps in this direction.”
He added, “The general amnesty will not be passed for three important reasons, most notably the popular rejection, stressing that any attempts to push him to parliament will lead to another crisis in the country, because it is not acceptable to release those who supported him.” and provided shelter and information to terrorist cells.”
He pointed out that "justice and fairness to the families of martyrs and victims of terrorism must be present in any law voted on by the House of Representatives."
Several forces were trying to pressure in order to push the amnesty law to the House of Representatives in an attempt to pass it despite the popular rejection. Ended 25 F
