    Information / special.
Today, Tuesday, the Al-Fatah Alliance considered the current government's delay in approving the general amnesty law as "preventing it from falling into the trap." While it confirmed that the government was exposed to political blackmail, it indicated that the process of re-investigating 70,000 convicts is an illogical problem.
Al-Hilali said in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, "The government of Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani was subjected to political blackmail by some blocs and parties to try to pressure it to pass the general amnesty law."
He added, "The government avoided falling into the trap of approving a general amnesty law, which may include many of those who committed many crimes against the Iraqi people in the past period."
“The process of re-investigating 70,000 convicts in prisons is an illogical and unacceptable problem in light of the stability that Iraq is now witnessing at all levels,” the leader of the Al-Amiri coalition explained.
Al-Hilali pointed out, "The Council of Ministers' failure to vote on the general amnesty law is a step in the right direction," noting that "some political parties bet on passing it within the Council of Ministers, and this did not happen." .”
Member of Parliament, Zainab Jumaa, had promised that passing the general amnesty law would "achieve gains" for some political forces in the provincial elections, and while stressing that its approval must be "conditional," she stressed the need to close the doors of terrorism.
Warnings continue from various political circles against adopting the general amnesty law, which some parties considered as a law in order to trade in the blood of martyrs and to remove murderers and criminals from prisons. Ended / 25r
