The authority stated, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "in implementation of the directives of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, to implement a package of procedures for the retirees segment, and with continuous follow-up from the head of the National Retirement Authority, Maher Hussein Rashid, as the National Retirement Authority announces the start of disbursing the end-of-service reward to retirees in total." The amount is 9839 divided into the following categories:
- End of service reward for civilian and military retirees amounting to (7636) records -
End of service reward for the martyrs and wounded of the Ministry of Interior amounting to (192) records -
End of service reward for the martyrs and wounded of the Ministry of Defense (1907) records -
Wounded whose injury is less than 30% (27) records .
- Prisoners whose detention period is less than a month (77) records.
The Commission called on "retirees and beneficiaries of the aforementioned segment who receive text messages to review banks and electronic payment outlets in Baghdad and the provinces to receive their dues."
