{Local: Al-Furat News} Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani confirmed today, Saturday, that the country lacks employment programs “and leadership” that have reached advanced stages of registration.
Al-Sudani said at the National Conference for Youth Dialogue, "This day emanates from the energy of hope and optimism for the youth of Iraq, who represent the present and future of our beloved homeland."
He added, "The conference represents a summary of youth ideas for a persistent team of young people who worked for two consecutive months to formulate proposals in which our children from fifteen provinces participated," noting that "Iraq is classified among the young countries in the world."
He continued, "More than sixty percent of the people of Iraq are under the age of twenty-five, which makes it one of the youngest people," explaining that "your country today is fortunate with your energies and brilliant minds."

He pointed out that "the indicators of student scholarships in advanced foreign universities confirm that the Iraqi student always gets the highest ranks."
And Al-Sudani added, "The country lacked real, mature programs with clear goals in employing youth energies in the right direction," stressing that "our youth were subjected to great injustice that no one else was exposed to."

And the Prime Minister stated, “During the time of the dictatorial regime, Iraq lost many of its young people in absurd wars,” noting, “After the regime change, the state left the hostile pattern that it followed throughout the period of dictatorship, and with openness to the world, the traditional administrative philosophy inherited from previous regimes remained the one controlling the plans.” public of the state.

He stated that "this philosophy is based on the idea of government employment and ignores education and encouragement to work in the private sector, which in all developed countries today represents the cornerstone in managing the economy," noting that "many oil countries that are similar to us in the rentier economy have felt the danger of relying on the idea The unilateral economic pattern tended to open horizons for investing the experiences, energies, creativity and innovations of young people in the private sector.

The Prime Minister added, "Countries that rely on this type of administrative thinking will be doomed to failure," adding, "We have seen how the confusion and decline in oil prices a few years ago made us delay even in paying employees' salaries, in addition to stopping most service projects."
He explained, "Young people are required to be encouraged and not hesitate to enter the private sector, whether they are investors or employees," explaining that "the current government has set its sights, since the beginning of its work, on advancing the private sector."

Al-Sudani affirmed, "We launched many initiatives for young people in order to push them to enter as investors and innovators of ideas, including the (Riyada) initiative."
