Najaf Governorate announced, on Wednesday, that 240 investment projects are being implemented at a cost of 10 trillion dinars, providing 32,000 job opportunities.
Najaf Governor Majid Al-Waeli said, "The province has more than 340 investment opportunities, and work is underway on more than 240 of them," noting that "more than 32,000 job opportunities were provided by these projects."
Al-Waeli explained, "The cost of the projects exceeded 10 trillion dinars, and this is an addition to the holy city of Najaf and evidence of the progress of the investment file in it."
He added, "Last year, the two largest investment opportunities nationwide were granted to the province in the field of industrial investment, with an industrial city with an area of 4,000 dunums in the polluted industries area, as well as another industrial city in the non-polluted industries city with an area of 6,000 dunums."
