The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced, on Tuesday, the opening date for applying for loans for small projects, while clarifying the application mechanism.
The assistant director general of labor and vocational training in the ministry, Abbas Fadel Abbas, said in an interview with the official agency, followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the ministry has completed the procedures for applying for loans for small projects and the law has entered into force, as it will be launched after completing the allocations that are distributed to departments within days." "We are committed to implementing the prime minister's directive to launch the government program's work fairly," he said.
Abbas added, "A link will be launched to apply in accordance with the mechanisms and the new law, as this link will be available to all job seekers, and the loan application will be via the link."
He explained: "The criteria for approving the granting of a loan to a job seeker are that there be a sponsor and that he be registered as unemployed, in addition to that the loan applicant submits a feasibility study of the project under which the loan will be granted," pointing out that "the program that will grant the loan guarantees the borrower's entry into courses Incubators for its development and capacity building.
