Shafaq News/ Iraq ranked fifth among the top 10 oil producing countries in the world during the year 2022, according to the Italian oil company, Eni.
Eni said, in a table seen by Shafaq News agency, that "Iraq came among the fifth largest oil-producing countries in the world, producing 4.554 million barrels, at a compound growth rate of 5.4%, while it increased by 10.2% from 2021, which amounted to 4.132 million barrels, and rising By 9.8% from the year 2020, which amounted to 4.148 million barrels.
She added, "The United States of America came at the forefront of countries in oil production, as its production for the year 2022 amounted to 17,850, followed by Saudi Arabia in second place with 12.416 million barrels, and then Russia came third with a production of 11.088 million barrels, and then Canada came in fourth place with a production of 5.757 million barrels."
And the company continued, saying, "The United Arab Emirates came sixth, with a production of 4.190 million barrels, China came seventh, with a production of 4.177 million barrels, Iran came eighth with a production of 3.577 million barrels, Brazil came ninth with a production of 3.119 million barrels, and finally Kuwait came in the tenth place with a production of 3.013 million barrels."
