    The Compensation Committee in Nineveh said that it is about to close the compensation file for those affected in the province permanently, revealing that it has spent, during the past eight months, approximately 200 billion dinars among the aforementioned segment.
    The director of the sub-committee for compensation in the province, Khaled Al-Hadidi, said in an interview with Al-Sabah newspaper, followed by Al-Iqtisad News, that the value of the compensation that the committee disbursed from the beginning of this year until the middle of this month, among the people affected by Nineveh as a result of the ISIS terrorists’ control over the province and its liberation operations.     He added that the compensations belong to properties, shops, buildings, and residential homes during the war against the oppressors of “ISIS,” and belong to the beneficiaries from the city of Mosul, districts, and sub-districts, whose legal and administrative transactions were completed and checked earlier within the committee in the province. Al-Hadidi revealed that the sub-committee is about to complete all transactions related to compensation for those affected, after completing all the deficiencies, which were the cause of obstructing a large number of transactions of those affected.
    He pointed out that “it was submitted to the Central Committee to compensate those affected by military operations in Baghdad,” adding that “the sub-committee is currently working to complete all the transactions of the affected residents of western Nineveh within the districts of Sinjar, Tal Afar and Al-Ba’aj, in order to resolve and file them during the current and next months, with the aim of completing the compensation file.” completely by the end of 2023, noting that the transactions are the last remaining victims of military operations, the majority of which were not completed due to deficiencies in them.
