    Information / Baghdad...
Political analyst Hazem Al-Bawi said that the visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to Iraq has introduced the oil export file via Turkey into a new equation, pointing to the importance of paying attention to the ongoing negotiations regarding the oil and gas law between Baghdad and the delegation of Iraqi Kurdistan.

Al-Bawi told Al-Maalouma, "The recent political developments, after the visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to Baghdad, and the entry of the stalled Iraqi oil issue through Kurdistan to the port of Ceyhan on the negotiation line, has introduced a new equation in the relations between the two countries."
He added, "These negotiations, the Baghdad negotiating delegation must be shrewd and alert towards them, since the relationship between the Kurdish and Turkish sides confirms the existence of suspicious agendas, especially in the issue of blackmailing Iraq and achieving well-known gains."
He pointed out that "the controversial oil and gas law included, in addition to the task of distributing resources fairly for all segments of the people, it also included the need to limit the export of Iraqi oil from the far north to the far south through the SOMO Federal Company," noting that "this paragraph is certainly not to your liking." To the Kurdish side, especially the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which refuses to return to this legal paragraph on which the oil and gas law is based. ended 25 n
