    Baghdad today - Baghdad
The Kurdistan region participates, for the first time, in the plan to transport visitors to the Arbaeen visit after 2003, in the second indication of its kind of transformation in the Kurdistan Regional Government’s dealings in a way that makes it closer to the citizens of other Iraqi provinces, after the incident of sending the head of the regional government messages of congratulations on Eid al-Adha to Phones of citizens of central and southern Iraq.
A source in the Prime Minister's office revealed, in a statement to the official agency, followed by "Baghdad Today", that "the Kurdistan region participated in a hundred buses transporting and promoting the Arbaeen visit, and this is for the first time."
He emphasized that "the transportation plan for this year differs from previous years," noting, "The prime minister's directives are to rent about 1,200 large buses, in addition to 200 small buses, to add them to more than 2,000 government buses and cars."
He pointed out that "23 trains are running to prevent extortion and exploitation of citizens during the transportation process to and from the holy city of Karbala."
It is noteworthy that this unprecedented step for the Kurdistan Region in participating in the transportation plan for the Arbaeen visit translates the magnitude of the shift in the behavior of the authorities in the Kurdistan Region and Erbil in particular, by drawing closer to Baghdad and all Iraqis, to be reinforced in this direction after the congratulations of the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, the Iraqis are far away Last Adha (June 28, 2023) via messages they received on the phone .
This step can be described as occurring for the first time, as the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government has never addressed the citizens of other provinces outside the region via phone messages, and this step was confined to the federal presidencies in Baghdad .
