    The Ministry of Interior announced, on Sunday, the closure of 70 unlicensed pharmacies, clinics and beauty centers in Baghdad and the provinces during the month of August.

    The Director of Anti-Organized Crime Operations at the Ministry, Brigadier General [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1503470526/%D8%AD%D8%B3%D9%8A%D9%86 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D9%85%D9%8A%D9%85%D9%8A/ar/]Hussein Al-Tamimi[/url], said, “The Directorate, in cooperation with the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/888843742/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B5%D8%AD%D8%A9/ar/]Ministry of Health[/url] detachments and the concerned unions, carried out inspection campaigns that resulted in the seizure of 60 unlicensed clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies operating outside the laws.”



    Al-Tamimi added, "The directorate is keen to continue implementing ongoing campaigns to monitor violators, especially as they relate to the lives and health of citizens."

    He stated, “The number of unlicensed beauty centers that were closed by the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/888843742/%D9%88%D8%B2%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B5%D8%AD%D8%A9/ar/]Ministry of Health[/url] reached nine, in addition to tattoo centers, and legal measures were taken against the violators and referred them to the judiciary,” noting that “the closures are taken after obtaining judicial approvals against the owners of those clinics.” Centers and pharmacies.
