Türkiye hopes to implement the “development path” within months

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan expressed his hope to move to the implementation phase of the vital “development road” project with Iraq within the next few months.
The official Turkish Anatolia Agency quoted Fidan as saying: “We hope to move to the implementation phase within months of the (Iraqi-Turkish) development road project, which carries great importance for the well-being and stability of the Middle East,” noting that “the energy and transportation corridors cannot It can be effective and sustainable in the region without Turkish participation.” In turn, the Turkish Energy Minister, Alp Arslan Bayraktar, said: The last February 6 earthquake and floods destroyed the oil pipeline, indicating that “discussions with Iraq are continuing on this issue, as two neighboring countries, "We should sit together and come to an amicable solution."
