Today, Saturday, the Joint Management Committee for the implementation of contracts concluded between the Ministry of Oil and Total and Qatar Energy companies held an expanded meeting to discuss the implementation of joint projects.
A statement by the Ministry of Oil said, “The joint management committee for implementing contracts concluded between the Ministry of Oil, Total International Company, and Qatar Energy Company held an expanded meeting to discuss the initial steps to implement joint projects, within the agreement concluded between the Ministry and Total.”
The statement added, "The meeting included discussing the mechanisms for naming the committees supporting the joint management, including the technical, financial, legal, and other committees, in preparation for approving the work program and development plans."
He continued, "The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Extraction Affairs, Bassem Muhammad Khudair, the Undersecretary for Gas Affairs, Izzat Saber, the Director General of the Basra Oil Company, the Director General of the South Gas Company, the Director General of the Economic Department at the Ministry of Oil, and a number of officials in the Ministry's center departments and oil companies."
