    The official spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmed Musa Al-Abadi, confirmed today, Sunday, that all stations and generating units have entered the periodic maintenance phase.
    Al-Abadi said in a statement to / Al-Maalouma / agency, that "the Ministry of Electricity has prepared an integrated plan to introduce the generating units in all production stations to periodic maintenance programs."
    He added, "There is a government directive on the necessity of raising the production capacity of generating stations in all governorates in order to meet the need of each governorate for supply hours."
    Al-Abadi pointed out that "implementing the periodic maintenance phase aims to maintain the sustainability of stations and generating units and maintain their production to ensure the continuity of supply hours." 
    He pointed out that "the next summer season will witness the strengthening of the national system with new stations that will increase Iraq's electricity production."
    The suffering of Iraqis increases with chronic power outages as we enter the first months of summer and temperatures reach their peak during the past three days. End / 25Q
