    [size=45]Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Agriculture clarified the controls on the movement of poultry and its products between governorates.[/size]
    [size=45]Thaer Sabri Hussein, Director of the Epidemiology Department at the Ministry, said, “The Ministry imposes restrictions on the import of live chicken, as it is not permitted to import laying hens or broiler chickens. However, it is permitted to import frozen chicken and cuts after the approval of the slaughterhouses in the country of origin.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added, "The movement of laying hens from the region to all governorates is also permitted, provided that the field or project has been inspected and provided with a veterinary health certificate."[/size]
    [size=45]He added, "The Ministry does not allow the transfer of broiler chickens from the region to the rest of the governorates, and their movement between the governorates is permitted after conducting an examination and providing it with a veterinary health certificate, provided that the fields are officially licensed."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that “hatching eggs are allowed to be imported from safe global sources, and the movement of local eggs for hatching is also allowed after providing them with a veterinary health certificate.”[/size]
    [size=45]He explained that “table eggs are allowed to be imported from safe global sources, and the movement of table eggs from the region to the rest of the governorates is also allowed after inspection by a special committee and providing it with a veterinary health certificate.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added: “It is also permissible to transport table eggs between governorates, provided that the fields are officially licensed by the Veterinary Department and provided with a veterinary health certificate.”[/size]
