    Information/Baghdad..
Today, Monday, the representative of the State of Law coalition, Alia Nassif, announced the collection of parliamentary signatures demanding that the government take the necessary measures regarding the unconstitutionality of the Khor Abdullah agreement with the Kuwaiti side.

Nassif said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “More than 100 signatures were collected to demand that the government deposit the Federal Court’s decision regarding the cancellation of the Khor Abdullah Agreement with the UN Security Council.”
She added, "Immediately after issuing the decision, the government is supposed to submit a memorandum to a council to cancel the agreement due to the presence of many loopholes, in addition to depriving Iraq of its view of the territorial waters, and this is in violation of the law of the sea."
Nassif indicated that she "filed a lawsuit before the Federal Court considering its decision only from a legal perspective because it was not presented before Parliament and needed a vote of two-thirds of the Council members, whether accepting or rejecting."
The decision of the Federal Supreme Court regarding the invalidity of the Khor Abdullah Agreement signed between Iraq and Kuwait sparked the anger of many Arab parties, especially Kuwait itself, and the subsequent movements at the international level, heading to New York and seeking the help of America to denounce it and try to cancel it.
