The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, head of the Iraqi Al-Basas Coalition, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, stressed: “Basra should have a special importance and status, as it is the lung from which Iraq breathes, and it should be a model of growth, development and prosperity.”
Al-Mandalawi said, during his meeting with the coalition candidates in the local elections for Basra Governorate: “Work must be the basis for bringing about the change that the people are waiting for at the service, economic and development levels, and that Basra is the starting point towards other governorates.”
The head of the Iraqi Al-Basas Coalition stressed the necessity of adhering to the agreed-upon electoral program, which was prepared by experts and specialists in various fields, and that the candidate’s concern should be to serve the citizen, advance the reality of the province, and achieve progress and prosperity for Iraq.
