Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, Ziyad Al-Tamimi, confirmed today, Saturday, the activation of Arab agreements related to combating terrorism, money laundering, and organized crime.

Al-Tamimi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, “Iraq signed many agreements that stipulated the fight against terrorism, money laundering, and the pursuit of corrupt people.”
He added, "Iraq has expressed its full interest in combating corruption, recovering stolen funds, and combating terrorism and extremism."
He pointed out that "the Ministry of Justice has taken decisive steps, in cooperation with Arab justice ministers, in the file of recovering the stolen funds and proceeding with all cases that were agreed upon two years ago."
