Independent MP Basem Ngheimesh Al-Gharibawi, on Thursday, criticized the Council’s agenda for the previous sessions for not containing important laws, blaming the Presidency of Parliament for the legislative failure.
Al-Gharibawi said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “There is dissatisfaction because the Presidency of the House of Representatives neglected to include important laws on the Council’s agenda that serve citizens.”
He added, "The agenda of the previous sessions was unsuccessful because it did not contain important laws such as retirement, salary scale, laws that serve the security establishment, and other laws."
He stressed the need to "include service laws and laws that pertain to the segment of retirees and retirees."
Independent Representative Raed Al-Maliki explained the reasons for the weakness of the House of Representatives’ agenda, pointing out that the House cannot delve into laws that contain a financial aspect at the present time due to the failure to legislate the budget law. Ended / 25 H
