Today, Sunday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received an invitation from the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to participate in the twenty-first edition of the Doha Forum.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated, in a statement, a copy of which Mawazine News received, that “Al-Sudani received the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Iraq, Sultan Mubarak Khalifa Al-Kubaisi, and during the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries, the challenges facing the region, and the strengthening of mutual cooperation were discussed.” “Which included a number of memorandums of understanding in the fields of energy and investment.”
The statement added, "The Ambassador handed Sudanese an invitation from Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to participate in the twenty-first edition of the Doha Forum, scheduled to be held next December."
He continued: "The meeting witnessed discussion of the Israeli aggression against Gaza, and the worsening situation there after the occupation authorities tightened the siege on civilians and deprived them of their most basic human rights."
Al-Sudani stressed, “The necessity of coordinating Arab and international efforts and moving quickly in order to stop the aggression, and open safe corridors to bring in aid to the people of Gaza, who are suffering under the unjust siege and are living in deteriorating humanitarian and health conditions.” Ended 29/H
