    The Ministerial Council for National Security discussed, during its meeting chaired by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani on Wednesday, the establishment of a center for crisis and disaster management.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement stated, “The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, chaired this evening, Wednesday, a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security, in the presence of the Council’s members.”[/size]
    [size=45]The meeting witnessed a discussion of the proposed structure of the Crisis and Disaster Management Center, which aims to build a national system for this purpose and unify efforts among all relevant ministries in this field. For immediate and rapid response to any emergency.[/size]
    [size=45]In another axis, the Council discussed the steps that must be taken to provide justice to the war-wounded members of the Ministry of Defense, who were injured during their military service, and the medical committees recommended that they were unfit for service. With the aim of giving an opportunity to experts working in the field of cybersecurity, the Council discussed holding a national competition in this regard. This is to follow up on the development taking place in this field and the need to attract artistic talent by selecting the first winners in this competition. To raise the level of work in the field of cybersecurity, provided that coordination is made with the Cybersecurity Center in the Ministry of Interior in this matter.[/size]
    [size=45]The Council also discussed a number of other topics on the agenda and took the necessary measures regarding them. The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, directed us to work to combat rumors and fabricated news and respond to them through official channels and sources.[/size]
