    On Monday, the National Security Council announced the approval of establishing a center for security and intelligence coordination with Iraq's neighboring countries.
    The office of the head of the council, Qassem al-Araji, said in a statement received by "The Information", that "the National Intelligence Coordination Authority discussed, in a meeting attended by the leaders of the intelligence and security community, support for the efforts of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in lifting the European ban on the Iraqi national air carrier, by securing the safety of airports, as well as Adopting vital facilities as a first priority in intelligence and security plans.”
    The meeting discussed "the development of intelligence cooperation and coordination with neighboring and regional countries, in confirmation of the Iraqi government's principle of pursuing cooperation and intelligence partnerships that support the fight against crime and terrorism."
