Kurdistan forces are close to resolving their internal disputes

Partisans and observers in the region believe that the need has become urgent to unify the political vision of the National Union and the Democratic Party to address the problems and resolve differences between them, including amending the course of governance in the region, indicating that the recent Birmam meeting is in the interest of the Kurdish decision and strengthening it in Baghdad
.
A member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mahdi Abdul Karim, explained in an interview with “Al-Sabah” that “the dispersal of the Kurds affects the unity of the Kurdish decision,” calling for “strengthening dialogues to solve the current problems between the Union and the Kurdistan Democratic Party.”
Abdul Karim added, "The Kurds are waiting for many benefits with Baghdad," adding that "there is no need for the Democratic President to attend the meeting to confirm the points of the Birmam Agreement, especially since the Democratic delegation is authorized and agrees with the leader of his party on the points that were raised."
In turn, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Mahmoud Khoshnaw, told “Al-Sabah”: “The last meeting between the two parties comes after the fifth conference of the Kurdistan Union and its communication with the political parties,” indicating that “the Union communicated with the Democratic Party regarding an initiative to resolve and discuss multiple joint files.” .
He explained that "the files relate to the ruling political parties in the region, specifically the Democratic Party, to amend the government course, including the salaries of employees and retirees, citizen service, and communication with the federal government to implement the provisions of the tripartite budget."
Khoshnaw stated that "there are other tracks in the region related to defence, security, partnership, political communication, and ending the state of political rift that exists as a result of the government's performance," noting that "the Union confirmed that this meeting is the best way to implement our political program."
The member of the Kurdistan Union explained that "the dialogues at the federal level of the Democratic Party have another point of view, and we believe in the necessity of adopting the constitution in the relationship between the federal government and the region and removing negative interactions from the relationship of the two parties and relying on the constitution and going to partnership in the Iraqi state."
While the researcher at the Academic Center for National Studies and professor at the KTI Institute, Adalat Abdullah, considered the Birmam meeting in Erbil a useful experience, even if the two parties did not reach an agreement, pointing out that the usefulness of the meeting lies in establishing the option of dialogue and making it open as the only way to settle differences.
Abdullah added, in an interview with “Al-Sabah,” that “it is necessary to resolve problems through frank dialogue, an open mood, and mastering the culture of communication,” adding that “the will was absent from the scene during the last period, taking into account that the two parties offer some compromise and concession to each other.” Some seek to overcome differences and prepare a real Kurdish agenda for dialogue with the federal government.”
Meanwhile, political affairs researcher Saman Nouh pointed out that “the meeting of the two parties took place after four months of interruption.”
Noah added to “Al-Sabah” that “the differences are great between the two parties, and there is something similar to the rule of two administrations in the Kurdistan region, and each party is not ready to give up its administration in exchange for building a unified Kurdish administration with strong leadership capable of internal dialogue to solve the region’s problems of budget, economy, and job opportunities.” ".
