    Information / Anbar..
An official source in the Anbar local government warned, on Monday, of the dangerous repercussions of throwing large quantities of American forces’ waste and destroying it in an unsanitary manner by the Jubbah municipality in Anbar Governorate.

The source said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency: “The American forces stationed at Ain Al-Assad base in Al-Baghdadi district in Hit district, west of Anbar, are throwing their forces’ waste in the desert areas of the Jubbah region of Al-Baghdadi district, and this waste is being burned and destroyed in an unhealthy manner due to the presence of toxic materials.” “These are medications and other supplies that lead to the occurrence of carcinogenic diseases.”
He added, "The American forces took one of the areas of Al-Baghdadi as a place for their forces' waste, but they changed the location of the dump to an unknown area and then took a new location to throw their waste in the Jubbah desert area, where the Jubbah municipality is burning and destroying this waste, but these methods are unhealthy." "It leads to air pollution with toxic substances that affect the health of residents of the western regions."
He pointed out that "the American forces' waste dump is not monitored and supervised by the health and environmental departments in the governorate, which warns of the danger of throwing this waste and not burning it or taking measures to limit the damage resulting from the random throwing of this waste."
