    Sheikh Abdullah al-Dulaimi, one of the sheikhs and notables of Anbar province, warned, on Tuesday, of a plan by the Peshmerga forces to control the outskirts of Mosul and Rabia provinces towards the Sinjar region in order to reach the western border with American support.

    Al-Dulaimi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "Information that was leaked from influential figures in the local Mosul government indicated the existence of an undeclared plan that complements the plan of Kirkuk governorate, which includes moving a Peshmerga force on the outskirts of Mosul and Rabia governorate towards Sinjar, with the support and planning of the US forces, which gave the green light for the move." These forces are heading towards those areas for reasons that have become known to everyone.”
    He added, "The American plan provides for the redeployment of Massoud Barzani's forces to the governorates of Mosul and Kirkuk within agreements concluded by the two parties in Syria, where the American forces support the Kurdish military units in Syria to implement their goals," noting that "Masoud Barzani is the mastermind of this project, which aims to control the oil fields." And gas to rescue his government from collapse, stressing that "American forces surveyed by land the areas confined between the provinces of Mosul and Anbar, amid information that those forces support an anticipated operation of the Peshmerga forces on the outskirts of Mosul and Rabia, all the way to the Sinjar region."
    It is noteworthy that a security source in Anbar revealed, at a later time, the intention of the American forces to establish a new base for them near the Hatra area in Mosul, for reasons that are not clear.
