    During the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Palestinian Embassy in Baghdad, Faisal gave a presentation on the latest developments in the war launched by the occupation forces on the Gaza Strip and other Palestinian cities, and spoke about the great steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of this cowardly aggression, and the great sacrifices made by the Palestinians.
    The Vice President of the Palestinian National Council praised the official and popular position of the Iraqi people, stressing the importance of continuing this solidarity until the aggression is stopped immediately and the Palestinian people obtain their legitimate rights.
    In turn, Comrade Raed Fahmi renewed the party's condemnation of the heinous crimes committed by the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
    Fahmi affirmed that the party, the National Democratic Forces, and the Iraqi people stand by the rights of the Palestinian people, stressing the importance of continuing popular pressure in the Arab region and the world for a comprehensive halt to the aggression against Gaza, the immediate entry of aid, and work to find a political solution that leads to the establishment of the Palestinian national state with its capital.
