Dhi Qar Oil Company revealed the progress of work on strategic projects to develop the Nasiriyah field, as part of the company’s plan to increase production capacity in the National Voltage fields.
Director of the Planning and Follow-up Department, Asaad Sattar, said that the company is implementing a number of projects to develop the field, including the material storage yard and surface facilities in the Nasiriyah oil field, the completion rate of which has reached 81%.
Starr added that the project provides 12 storage yards, 6 of which are for pipes and 6 for surface facilities, with an area of 4,900 square meters for each yard, with high engineering specifications, a rainwater drainage network, and concrete supports.
He pointed out that this project will contribute to improving the flexibility of storage and handling of reserve materials required to sustain development in the large oil field.
