The former representative of the Kurdish component, Ghaleb Muhammad Ali, confirmed on Monday that Erdogan, through his arms in Iraq represented by Barzani and some Sunni parties, is seeking to control Iraq and occupy part of its territory.

Ali told the Maalouma Agency, “Masrour Barzani deals with ambivalence regarding the rights of the Kurdish people, as there are more than 20 million Kurdish people in Turkey and the aforementioned character cannot speak about their oppression because of the interests that link him to Ankara.”
He added, "The Kurds in Turkey suffer greatly from the prevention of speaking their language, as well as the failure to introduce the Kurdish language in schools, and they do not have the rest of the rights that the Kurdish people have in Iraq."
He stated that "Barzani cannot defend the rights of the Kurdish people in Turkey because he is afraid of its government, and he is also considered the Turkish arm in Iraqi Kurdistan, in addition to smuggling oil through Turkish territory."
He continued, "Erdogan seeks, through the arms he has in Kurdistan, as well as in the Sunni component, to rule Iraq, control its capabilities, and occupy parts of the country's lands." Ended 25 n
