    The Ministry of Culture has set the date for launching the 3-tranche grant, indicating that all lists and tables specifying the names are ready, awaiting the Ministry of Finance’s completion of the amount .
    The spokesman for the Ministry of Culture, Ahmed Al-Olayawi, said today, Monday (December 4, 2023), in an interview with “Baghdad Today”, that “his ministry is continuing official correspondence with the Finance Ministry to complete the total grant amount for the segments covered by it, which are (journalists - writers - artists), which It amounts to 27 billion dinars, while the culture has only 20 billion dinars, meaning we are waiting for 7 billion dinars to be disbursed to launch the grant.”
    He added, "All the lists and tables specifying the names are ready, waiting for the Ministry of Finance to complete the amount," expecting that "the grant will be released during the current month, especially since communications are continuing to issue the disbursement permit immediately."
    Many institutions and ministries complain of delayed disbursement of financial dues and budget shares, many of whose provisions have been delayed in implementation.
