Al-Sahhaf said in an interview with the Al-Ma’louma Agency, “The tweet of the American ambassador in Iraq represents a blatant violation of diplomatic norms,” pointing out that “the PMF formations that fight terrorism, defend the country’s sovereignty and operate under the umbrella of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces are targeted by the American occupation without Right face.”
He pointed out that "the Iraqi Foreign Ministry is required to take a position regarding the blatant interventions carried out by the US Ambassador in Baghdad," stressing that "the US Ambassador's tweet about justifying the bombing of the crowd is not permissible according to diplomatic norms."
