    Representative Samia Al-Ghallab confirmed, on Monday, Parliament’s failure to pass important laws during the past year, noting that political differences are what delay the approval of these laws according to the principle (pass to me and I will pass to you).
    Al-Ghallab said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “There are dozens of draft laws that have not seen the light of day due to political differences,” pointing out that “pressure operations are what delay the enactment of laws.” 
    She added, "Controversial and important laws must be legislated during the next legislative term."
    She pointed out that “the law separating tourism from antiquities did not see the light of day due to political differences, in addition to other laws in her committee that had not seen the light of day since previous parliamentary sessions.” Ended 25 h
