    [rtl]The Taqaddam Party, headed by Muhammad al-Halbousi, confirmed that there were no agreements between the political parties on choosing the personality of the Speaker of the House of Representatives.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Party member, Muhammad Al-Alawi, said in a press interview, “The political parties have not agreed on the personality of the new Speaker of Parliament yet.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]He added, "The session to elect the Speaker of Parliament will be held with the start of the new legislative term, but it is difficult to choose an alternative to Al-Halbousi in light of the large number of candidates for the position."[/rtl]
    [rtl]A member of the Taqadum Party called on the political forces to "sit at the negotiating table in order to decide the candidate for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives."[/rtl]
    [rtl]Earlier, the representative of the coordination framework, Firas Al-Muslimaoui, confirmed in a press interview that “the session to elect the Speaker of the House of Representatives will be held on the tenth of this month.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]Al-Muslimaoui pointed out that “the bylaws of the House of Representatives stipulate the necessity of electing the Speaker of the House before Parliament proceeds with discussing the proposed laws.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]Sunni forces have been competing for the presidency of Parliament, since the dismissal of Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi in November of last year after he was convicted of forging the resignation of MP Laith al-Dulaimi.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Part of the coordination framework tends to elect the representative of the Azm Alliance, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, as Speaker of the House of Representatives, while other forces demand that the position be in favor of the Taqaddam Party.[/rtl]
