    Economy News _ Baghdad
The Ministry of Planning expected to resolve 90 percent of the stalled projects by the end of this year, while indicating that the remainder would be completed within two years.
Ministry spokesman Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi said, in an interview with Al-Sabah, followed by Al-Iqtisad News, that the government has worked greatly to address the lagging projects file under the leadership of the Ministry of Planning, as there were 1,452 projects at the beginning of the formation of the current government.
Al-Hindawi added that a committee was formed headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Tamim, Minister of Planning, to address all files related to the lagging hospitals, which number about 70, noting that all problems have been addressed, as work has resumed on some of them and others are in the process of completing
    procedures.
Al-Hindawi continued that there are daily committees formed to follow up on the decisions and actions taken to address the issue of delayed hospital completion, while there is another committee specialized in projects for schools, sanitation, water, and lagging roads, indicating that the lagging projects have decreased to less than a thousand projects.
The Ministry's spokesman expected that 90 percent of the delayed projects would be resolved by the end of this year between completion and processing, and thus we are talking about completely completing the projects within two years.
