The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities is coordinating with the Ministry of Planning to implement the first phase of the Fourth Ring Road project, as part of projects to relieve traffic congestion.
The Ministry’s official spokesman, Nabil Al-Saffar, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah” followed by “Al-Iqtisad News” that the aforementioned road is one of the most important strategic projects that complement the projects to relieve traffic congestion, indicating that the Ministry’s Roads and Bridges Department completed the preliminary designs of the project in coordination with an international consulting company and reached To its final stages, confirming its adoption after review
and approval.
Al-Saffar pointed out that the road, which will connect all entrances to the capital, in addition to linking the highways located along it, extends 94 kilometers in length and 100 meters in width.
